General Information on Data Processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website, as well as our content and services.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g., name, contact information, IP address).
Processing is purpose-bound – such as to provide the website, process inquiries, or based on your consent for analysis purposes. Without your consent, we do not pass data on to third parties, unless there is a legal obligation or a contractual agreement (e.g., with processors).
Unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy, we store personal data only as long as the purpose is fulfilled or as required by legal retention periods. If the purpose ceases to apply or legal periods expire, the data is routinely deleted.
Hosting
Our website is hosted by the following service provider:
Framer B.V.
Houthavens – Danzigerbocht 45
1013 AM Amsterdam
Netherlands
Website: https://www.framer.com
Framer processes on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR) the data required to provide and deliver the website. This includes in particular inventory, contact, content, contract, usage, as well as meta and communication data (e.g., IP addresses, server log files, technical protocols) generated when visiting our website.
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Framer in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Data Collection when Visiting the Website
4.1 Server Log Files
When accessing our website, the server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files. This is data that your browser automatically transmits, e.g.:
Browser type and version, operating system used
Referrer URL (previously visited page)
Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
Date and time of the server request
This data is generally not assignable to specific individuals. Merger of this data with other data sources does not take place. The IP address is temporarily stored for security reasons, for example to detect and ward off attacks on our website. A personalized evaluation of the log files does not take place.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of the website).
Storage period: Server log data is regularly and automatically deleted after a short period, at the latest after 7 days.
4.2 Contact Form
If you contact us via our contact form, the data you enter will be processed. Generally, we collect:
Name
Email address
Message text
Time of the request
The provision of this data is voluntary, but necessary for processing your request. The data will be used exclusively to process and answer your contact request.
Before submitting the form, we obtain your explicit consent to process this data (e.g. via checkbox). Legal bases for processing are:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent)
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual measures) in so far as your request aims at concluding a contract.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect, e.g. by email. The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the time of withdrawal remains unaffected.
The data remains with us until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (your request is conclusively processed) or you request us to delete it/withdraw consent. Legal retention requirements remain unaffected.
4.3 Cookies and Cookie Consent
Our website uses cookies. Some are technically necessary (essential cookies), others can be used for analysis or marketing purposes.
We only deploy non-essential cookies with your consent (opt-in). Therefore, on your first visit to the website, a cookie banner appears, allowing you to make your choice. Your selection is stored in the form of a cookie.
Cookiebot (Usercentrics Consent Tool)
We use the consent management tool Cookiebot by
Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (Usercentrics Group).
Cookiebot displays the cookie banner and stores your consent status. Processed data includes:
anonymized IP address
date and time of your consent
browser information
our website URL
an anonymous key
the consent status (which categories were allowed/refused)
Cookiebot deploys a technically necessary cookie ("CookieConsent") for this, which stores your selection for up to 12 months.
Legal bases:
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation to obtain/manage consents)
and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in user-friendly, legally compliant consent management).
An order processing contract according to Art. 28 GDPR exists with Cybot. The data is stored in the EU. You can change your cookie settings at any time via the link "Privacy Settings" or by deleting cookies in your browser.
4.4 Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated thereby is generally transferred to a server of Google LLC in the USA and stored there. We use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization; the IP address is shortened before transmission to the USA.
Google processes the data on our behalf to generate reports on website activity. A data processing agreement exists. EU standard contractual clauses are used for transmissions to the USA; however, a level of data protection comparable to the EU cannot be guaranteed there.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (your consent via the cookie banner).
Without consent, Google Analytics remains deactivated. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings.
In addition, you can use the browser add-on offered by Google:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Data associated with cookies or user identifiers is automatically deleted after 14 months.
4.5 Social Media Links (Facebook & Instagram)
Links to our profiles on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) are integrated on our website. These are simple links/icons, not plugins.
Only when you click on the respective link do you leave our website, and the privacy policies of Facebook or Instagram apply. No data transfer to these providers takes place before you click.
For more information on data processing by Meta, please refer to the respective privacy notices of the platform.
